WS 511. History of American Women, 1870-present (3.0):
(Same as HIST 531 and AM S 511)
This is an upper-division survey of women’s history in the United States,
which includes radical and reform movements, the impact of war and depression,
professionalization, immigration, women’s work, and the biographies of
leading figures in women’s history. It’s primary objective is to
explore the historical activities of women who have heretofore been hidden from
history.
